I'm recovering well and getting faster....I'm so grateful I got it fixed....my instep was really worrying me.....you also let me know to take care of my body and to take twinges etc seriously.

Over the last year, a deteriorating condition in my upper thigh had got even worse with increasing pain and stiffness, which no longer improved with use, and I felt my limp was in danger of being permanent....and acting on a personal recommendation I consulted Mike. After one treatment there was a marked improvement and now it seems to have completely gone and after some months there has been no sign of a return. Mike's treatment has been amazing.... I now attend the gym again with no problems.

spine01A desire to help others led Mike Ker to practice Massage and to teach Pilates. Many hours spent talking to those who were treating the many injuries Mike Ker sustained whilst playing rugby and distance running fired him with an enthusiasm to learn how to help others to avoid injury or to recover as quickly and effectively as possible.

 

Pilates worked for him, which is why he now teaches it.

 

Mike Ker first qualified as a Massage therapist in 1995. In 2000 and again in 2001, he received Diplomas from the prestigious London School of Sports Massage in both sports massage and remedial massage.

 

In 2004 Mike qualified as a Pilates instructor with the Body Control Pilates Academy. He is continually updating his knowledge through courses, workshops, conferences etc.

 

Mike Ker is a full member of The Sports Massage Association and The Body Control Pilates Association. Both of these Bodies are at the forefront in seeking National registration for their members.

 

Pilates achieved National registration in February 2006, with Body Control Pilates the first school not only to meet the registration requirements in full, but even at basic level, to exceed them .

 

Mike works throughout South Bucks and East Berkshire and the surrounding areas with clinics and classes in Marlow, Bourne End and High Wycombe.
